<div style='text-align:Left;'><p><span>Polyline geodata of a potential model of Colonel Leake's route through the southern Mani peninsula in 1805 using outputs from least-cost analysis. The model represents an interpretation of Leake's most likely route based on multiple iterations of least-cost analysis and a comparison with the waypoints and topography described in his written account (Leake 1830). START is the starting waypoint. STOP is the stopping waypoint. LEG is the segment of Leake's journey, from 1 to 19. PROCEDURE is the method used to generate the least-cost path. LENGTH is the length of the line in meters. The lines were smoothed using the PAEK algorithm with a smoothing tolerance of 100 meters with the Esri ArcGIS "Smooth Line" tool prior to calculating length.
