            <statement>Layer was downloaded as a shapefile by ITOS from HDX. It was then analyzed by ITOS for errors. Those errors were corrected and then the layer was sent back to UNOCHA as a feature class within a file geodatabase.

The following errors were found and fixed by ITOS:
1. Fixed 19 multipart sliver errors.
2. Created and populated a reference name field.
3. Admin4 name "Cox'S Bazar Paurashava" converted to Proper Case.
4. Closed open parentheses in names.
5. Two bordering Admin4 units named "Islampur" existed in Admin3 "Rangunia". Two bordering Admin4 units named "Kala Kandi" existed in Admin3 "Titas". Two bordering Admin4 units named "Parki" existed in Admin3 "Kalihati". They had unique p-codes.The IMO advised ITOS to do the following:

-Bottom Islampur (20157027) should be South Rajanagar

-The two Kala Kandis can be merged

- PCODE 30934721 should be Bir Basunda 
– PCODE 30934783 should be Parki

These have been fixed in candidate.

6. The IMO has instructed ITOS to fill the following holes:

-Two holes determining the borders of Admin4 units "Nazirpur" and "Kalaiya" were filled and merged with "Nazirpur".

-A hole determining the borders of Admin4 units "Chandnandi", "Harni" and "Sukh Char" was filled and merged with "Chandnandi".

-A hole determining the borders of Admin4 units "Char Gopalpur", "Alimabad" and "Jangalia" was filled and merged with "Char Gopalpur".

-NOTE: A hole near the border of India remains unchanged as it is probably an Indian enclave

The following errors were found by ITOS but are not addressed in this version:
1. 45 names in Admin4 have names in parentheses that are not Proper Case. These are possible errors but have not been changed in candidate
2. The parentheses in some names may indicate the presence of alternate names. They may need to be separated and put in an AltName field</statement>
