Park Label Points

Selected centroid equivalent points generated from park property layer
Designed to provide placed point for labels for parks mapping. Label = 1 points should have a one-to-one correspondance with each polygon in the associated Park layer, so this layer can be used for overlay analysis where a simpler geometry than found in the associated Park layer is desired. Label = 1 points are a centroid equivalent - either close to the centroid, or fall within a Park polygon desginated as the main area of the park, even in the rare cases of very irregular or multi-part polygons, where the true geometric centroid could possibly fall outside a park polygon. Label = 2 points are second order labels, designed for labeling smaller separate portions of parks if desired. Label = 3 points are third order points. Label = 0 are all other points representing polygons in the master parks layer.
