The street name attributes are taken from plats that the Assessor's office creates. These plats make up Boundary - the cadastral base layer. The zipcode attribute comes from the KC GIS Center zipcode layer. Address ranges come from the pin_address dataset that is derived from Assessor data. The KC_FCC attributes are used to break out the streets into different types: Primary, Major, Connector, Freeway and Local. Street names are sometimes compared to the Exicse Tax Affidavits report.
Each arc contains a name, zipcode, directional address and type (KC_FCC).
Contains all known streets within King County.
This data set is conflated to the King County Cadastral Base.

St_Address is updated quarterly. A shapefile is created which contains all new type 1 arcs that have been added to the cadastal base - Boundary - since the last quarterly update. Type 1 arcs are street centerlines. These new centerlines are copied and pasted into the st_address layer and their attributes calculated. Some streets are added that are not centerlines. These streets are found by a review of pin_address - a parcel layer with the house addresses attached - and st_address. If a parcel, or group of parcels, has a house address that doesn't correspond to any street around it, then it is determined that a street is missing. An arc is then added from Boundary into st_address and the attributes calculated. Ortho photos are used to determine which arc should be used to represent the street so that it is positionally accurate.
