These were scored based on knowledge of the status and distribution of Brook Trout, future stream temperature projections (FishVis), current management plans and existing priorities of partners working in the area. This layer contains priority HUC-12 subwatersheds in the Western Michigan Upper Peninsula for Brook Trout as identified by the Ashland Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office (AFWCO). <div><br /></div><div>These were identified to direct habitat restoration efforts in this geography for the USFWS AFWCO Habitat Restoration Program.
