The 53 congressional districts within the state of California represent the geographically defined territories used for electing members to the the House of Representatives in the 116th U.S. Congress. The current U.S. Congressional boundaries in California were determined by the California Citizens Redistricting Commision following the completion of the 2010 United States Census and will remain valid through 2021.
