The wastewater treatment plants data set was derived from the ADEQ AZURITE PLACE system. This GIS data set is snapshot in time of a dynamic data base. It may include closed and inactive facilities or proposed facilities that have not yet been built as of the time the data set was created.The PLACE Type of WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT was used to select the records. In addition to the type, search criteria reviewed in the name field included WWTP, WRF, and WWRF. It does not include monitoring points or sub-places of a treatment plant.
