Layer: GSP Forest Monitoring Trees Info (ID:2)

Name: GSP Forest Monitoring Trees Info

Display Field: LT_COMMON_NAME

Type: Table

Description: This table includes the physical dimensions, miscellaneous observations, field notes and data management notes for trees, snags, and coarse woody debris. Each row represents an individual tree, snag or piece of coarse woody debris observed during a plot visit. The table can be related to other tables using the plot ID or visit ID. The species code can be used to relate this table to the species names table.Originally, the monitoring protocol did not require heights or diameters to be measured for regenerating trees when the tier 1 monitoring protocol was used; instead, they were tallied by species. Eventually the protocol was revised to specify that surveyors measure heights and diameter for all trees regardless of the protocol tier. Note that missing values were imputed for these metrics during the QAQC procedure.
