Energex currently has inherent data gaps within network/feeder lines. This is a direct result when there is logical connectivity changes made via a network operations program Energex calls PowerOn. When network sites are added, removed or modified within PowerOn this will create new logical circuits that requires physical validation by the Network Data Department via Worksplans DMT (AutoCAD) program. Until this has occurred gaps or missing segments may appear in the feeder network which is mainly associated to the 11kV and 33kV network. The missing segments can reside in the GIS for some length of time dependant on time taken to receive and process As-Constructed plans from the field. Hence the data will still exist but a complete trace may not be possible.
