SDWIS contains drinking water data that states are required to submit periodically, such as quarterly, to the EPA under the Safe Drinking Water Act. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:14px;'&gt;Users can visit SDWIS to obtain additional information on both active and inactive systems, such as the number of people served, service area information, characteristics of the system’s water source(s), and violation and enforcement information.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:14px;'&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Use Cases&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:14px;'&gt;Users can combine this table of active PWS with other datasets, such as from SDWIS or other sources, to conduct analyses related to resource allocation, public health protection, infrastructure planning, and risk assessments.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:14px;'&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:14px;'&gt;As of July 2026, this table supports the Opt-In form for the EPA Service Line Inventory GeoSolution, a tool offered by EPA Region 8 to assist public water systems in Wyoming and on Tribal Lands in EPA Region 8 meet requirements under the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:14px;'&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Data Management and Updates&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:14px;'&gt;The information in the table reflects the latest quarter of SDWIS data available, ensuring reliable and up-to-date resource management.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</idAbs>
