Service Description:

Abstract: Full Metadata This map estimates ambient concentration (microgram/m3) of formaldehyde from the National Air Toxics Assessment.

This hosted feature layer includes a selection of the National Air Toxics Assessment (NATA) 2014 estimates of ambient concentrations and health-effect results by 2010 census tracts, counties, and states. Although this service uses 2014 NATA data, the underlying Census tracts are 2010 augmented with 2011 Census tracts for VI plus Bedford City, VA into Bedford County VA. This dataset is based on data from 2014 NATA, which was produced by the US EPA to estimate health risks from toxic air pollutants. It was modified for incorporation into the EnviroAtlas Compare My Area tool. The NATA results are available as downloadable data from https://www.epa.gov/national-air-toxics-assessment/2014-nata-assessment-results.
