Description:

This geospatial dataset contains cancer risk estimates, noncancer hazard index estimates, and ambient concentration estimates for the 2018 AirToxScreen.  The dataset contains cancer risk estimates by pollutant and by emissions source group as well as noncancer hazard index estimates for 14 different target organ systems for each U.S. census tract. The census tract boundaries and attributes are from a dataset published by Esri in 2013 for the 2010 decennial census.

 

The cancer risk, hazard index, and ambient concentration estimates are based on air quality and dispersion modeling of emissions from the 2018 AirToxScreen.  More details on how AirToxScreen is developed are available at the AirToxScreen Website.
