Description: Emissions from the LADCO 2011 inventory are plotted here on the national 12-kilometer grid used for photochemical modeling. The data are log-transformed for display, but clicking on an individual grid cell will produce a popup box with the actual emissions in units of tons/year. These emissions density maps can help determine whether there are areas of higher emissions that might benefit from additional monitoring, or areas upwind of high concentrations that should be monitored for better characterization of urban-rural differences or adequate spatial characterization.
