Description: The Earthquake Interactive Maps presents a series of maps of earthquake hazards as part of EPA’s effort to assist water and wastewater utilities to develop resilience to seismic activity. The data is provided by the U.S. Geological Survey as well as state geological agencies. The maps present earthquake hazard areas from natural and induced earthquakes, fault lines, liquefaction, and historic earthquakes. Also, the GeoPlatform summarizes the approaches taken by several utilities and states to become more resilient to earthquakes.
