The polygons represent selected features from the New Jersey Farmland Preservation Program (NJFPP) dataset that are available for public distribution. Included are all farms that have been preserved through, or with an agricultural preservation easement recognized by, the NJFPP as administered by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture (NJDA), State Agriculture Development Committee (SADC). The NJFPP file has a relational database containing attributes for the various aspects of the program. The dataset represents the status of the program from January 23, 1983, the inception of the program, through the current publication date and reflects the current configuration of the preserved farms reflecting approved and completed post preservation subdivisions and lot consolidations.
