By using linear referencing tools, attribute information from the TxDOT Roadway Inventory table are located on the linework. Roadway attributes such as functional system, traffic counts, surface types among many others can be found on a roadway simply by selecting it or performing a query. The TxDOT Roadway Inventory layer can also be found on TxDOT’s Open Data Portal. This product is created annually by the Transportation Planning and Programming Division at TxDOT in the Data Analysis, Mapping and Reporting Branch for internal and public use.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;To create a line event (route), use ROUTE_ID from TxDOT Roadway Linework as the Route Identifier. Then, use the TxDOT Roadway Inventory table: RIA_RTE_ID as the Route Identifier, FRM_DFO and TO_DFO as the measure fields.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Updated: Annually&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Source: Geospatial Roadway Inventory Database (GRID)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</idAbs>
