Manual review of the 1,069 2014 Voting Precincts by Registered Voter Population with goal of reducing any Voting Precinct Registered Voters where population exceed 5,000 individuals.
1.1st Review conducted by Voters Mapping Department, through used of geocoding registered voters addresses to 2014 Road data.
2. Maps produced based upon Step 1 of voter population by individual Harris County Commissioner.
3. 2nd Review conducted with Harris County Commissioners and Voters Mapping department. Included Texas Legislative Council Voter Tabulated Districts (VTD) displaying various Federal, State, and County Political Jurisdictions.
4. Results of 2nd Review incorporated into a series of individual Voting Precinct that were identified in about Steps 1 thru 3.
5. Individual Voting Precinct maps were outlined in "green" indicating where those Voting Precincts that were identified as being require to be redrawn or Re-Precincting (term used) as defined by Step 2.
6. Re-Precincting effort was conducted using 2014 Aerial Imagery 6 inch and the various Political Jurisdictions as previous stated in earlier in the metadata.
7. Topology ArcGIS 10.3 was performed to valid if there were overlaps and gaps requiring editing of individual Voting Precinct polygons. Topology has not been validated for these polygons.
8. Quality review undertaken the Voters Manager and Mapping Department to ensure that individual Voting Precinct boundaries were align to the adjacent Voting Precinct boundaries
