20180705 12452800 1.0 TRUE This layer depicts Harris County Mosquito Control's Operational Area Boundaries that were initially created during the formation of the program in order to aid in the application of adulticides by providing for appropriately sized geographic areas which could be sprayed in a given night. Due to growth of the county and likely other factors, these initial boundaries were recreated circa 1979 into the rough approximation here. The edits carried out in 2009/2010 on this electronic copy were initially and primarily done in order to bring the boundaries into alignment with their original intended borders (e.g. street, bayou).
