To estimate the total 60 and older, the count in the age bracket 55 to 64 was multiplied by the fraction representing the average of fractions aged 60 to 64 out of 55 to 64 from 2013 - 2017. These fractions were calculated for female and male for each county, based on the PSU Population Research Center data (https://www.pdx.edu/prc/population-reports-estimates).

By Race and Ethnicity:
Any Minority: Subtract White Alone, Not Hispanic or Latino (Table B17020H) from Total (Table B17020).
Hispanic: Table B17020I
Native American: Table B17020C
Native Hawaiian: Table B17020E
Asian: Table B17020D
African American: Table B17020B
Two or More Races: Table B17020G

Limited English Proficiency: Table B16004 - Age by Language Spoken at Home by Ability to Speak English for the Population 5 years and over
Universe: Population 5 years and over
Respondents are asked if they Speak English "very well", "well", "not well", "not at all".
"Not well" and "not at all" were classified as limited English proficiency.

Disability: Table B18101 - Sex by Age by Disability Status
Universe: Civilian noninstitutionalized population. 'Adults' represents population aged 18 and over.
The ACS questionnaires cover six disability types:
Hearing difficulty: deaf or having serious difficulty hearing.
Vision difficulty: blind or having serious difficulty seeing, even when wearing glasses.
Cognitive difficulty: having difficulty remembering, concentrating, or making decisions.
Ambulatory difficulty: Having serious difficulty walking or climbing stairs.
Self-care difficulty: Having difficulty bathing or dressing.
Independent living difficulty: having difficulty doing errands alone such as visiting a doctor’s office or shopping.
Respondents who report anyone of the six disability types are considered to have a disability.

185% FPL: Table B17024 - Age by Ratio of Income to Poverty Level in the Past 12 Months.
The population aged 60 - 64 was interpolated for each county, because this table also uses age brackets of 55 to 64, 65 to 74 and 75 years and older.

Grandparents Responsible for Own Grandchildren under Age 18: Table B10059 - Poverty Status in the Past 12 Months of Grandparents Living with Own Grandchildren Under 18 Years by Responsibility for Own Grandchildren and Age of Grandparents Universe: grandparents living with own grandchildren under 18 years for whom poverty status is determined.
These are grandparents both living with and responsible for their own grandchildren who are younger than 18.

Living Alone: Table B25116 - Tenure by Household Size by Age of Householder
Universe : Occupied housing units
The population aged 60 - 64 was interpolated for each county, because this table also uses age brackets of 55 to 64, 65 to 74 and 75 years and older.

</idAbs>
