Description: The American Routable Network (ARN) is a Geographic Information System (GIS) database that contains line features representing over 1,100,000 miles of current roadways in the United States ranging from the interstate functional class to major collectors. ARN is a subset of the All Roads Network of Linear Referenced Data (ARNOLD) and is designed to be the successor network to the National Highway Planning Network (NHPN). The current ARN contains a set of data attributes that are suited to analytical modelling of large-scale transportation activities. This network is based on state submitted 2017 ARNOLD network and HPMS data.
