Sidewalk data is primarily collected from As-Built drawings submitted by Development Engineering and Infrastructure Planning Services (DEIPS) Department once the assets are assumed by the City of Vaughan. In case of capital projects (replacement/reconstruction) of assumed assets, the as-builts drawings are produced by Infrastructure Delivery Department. The relevant attribute information are extracted from various sources including as-built drawings, City of Vaughan Design Standard Drawings and other sources cited in as-built drawings. Minor updates are made based on the observations by the operators in Environmental Services Department.
