Service Description: The Bonneville Power Administration is proposing new transmission lines and substations in the BPA service area. BPA will prepare environmental impact statements to evaluate the impacts of the proposed projects. The EIS will describe the need for action, alternatives including the no action alternative, potential impacts from the alternatives, potential mitigation to avoid or reduce impacts, permits that may be required and consultation with tribes, other agencies and the public.
