This point shapefile contains data regarding building permits issued by the Development Services Department in the City of Austin jurisdiction from 2006 onwards. This information is updated quarterly. Data in this dataset has been retrieved from the City's Application MANagement and Data Automation(AMANDA) database. The dataset contains information regarding location, proposed uses, valuation, number of units, square footage etc, if available.
