This feature class represents locations of easement boundaries in the City of Austin and surrounding counties, and is intended to be used in conjunction with the Land_Base layer. Used together the two layers can be used to determine the area an easement is made up of. Previously, this layer was designed to be used with the Easement_Anno layer which has since been retired. The Easement_Text attribute in the Easement_Anno layer provided descriptive information regarding the easement use. We have recently completed a 3 year project in which the descriptive information from the Easement_Anno layer was migrated to the Easement feature class.
