Service Description: The National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) GIS Data Model was developed for jurisdictions to be able to inventory lands and assets that they own, plan, manage, operate, and maintain. By providing standard attributes and values, the GIS Model makes it possible for better local and regional management and planning of park and recreation resources. This data is used to serve other city departments and public entities for general references in map production, planning, and analysis.
