Description: The Homeowner Tax Credit Program layer displays census tracts in New York State and indicates whether each tract qualifies for the New York State Historic Homeownership Rehabilitation Tax Credit program.
If a city qualifies for the homeowner tax credit program under enhanced criteria, any areas within the city boundary qualify for the homeowner tax credit program.
Note: A property within a qualifying tract or city must meet other criteria to qualify for the homeowner tax credit program. There is no federal equivalent to this program.

This layer is updated annually on April 1. If a tract or city changes from qualifying to not qualifying, it will qualify for an additional two years.
