Municipal_Boundaries contains aerial locations for all populated places and designated places identified by the US Bureau of the Census. Attributes include city name, FIPS code, Census type, and demographic data. This file does not necessarily reflect the legal limits of any city, town, or incorporation. Data is from U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Census Bureau, Census 2000 Tiger Line Files, SF1 tables, and the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (NIRPC). This shapefile does not include the three census designated places of Lakes of the Four Seasons, Lake Dalecarlia, and South Haven.
