Service Description: This fuels treatment database is compiled from various sources around Alaska. Relationships were used to relate the master fuel treatment database back to the original source. This file represnts the master database in that it contains all the base data available in the related databases. Each fuel treatment was visually inspected using the latest aerial imagery to determine if it was still visible. Year of the imagery is located within the file.

Description: This fuels treatment database is compiled from various sources
around Alaska. Each fuel treatment was
visually inspected using the latest aerial imagery to determine if it
was still visible. Year of the imagery is located within the file.
The datasets were cross checked for
duplicates and discrepancies. Duplicates were removed and discrepancies
were rectified with aerial imagery when possible. Treatment years
range from 1974 to 2017 with -999 being used as the null value. For the
types of treatment: TS =Timber Sale, FW = Firewood, LUP = Land Use
Permit, HFR = Hazardous Fuels Reduction, HFR-FHP = Hazardous Fuels
Reduction- Forest Health Protection.
