This feature layer was created using Census 2016 data produced by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and Administrative Small Area boundary data (ungeneralised) produced by Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSi). The layer represents Census 2016 Themes 15.1, 15.2 and 15.3 and provides a population breakdown of the number of households with cars (15.1), with a personal computer (15.2) and with internet (15.3). Attributes include: no motor car, 1 motor car, 2 motor cars, 3 motor cars, 4 or more motor cars, not stated, yes, no, not stated, broadband, other, no, not stated.

The Census is carried out every 5 years by the CSO to determine an account of every person in Ireland. The results provide information on a range of themes, such as, population, housing, employment, welfare, infrastructure and education. The data were sourced from the CSO.
