Service Description: Intersections are inventoried as part of Public Works' Asset Management processes; they are a critical part of the transportation infrastructure. Intersections are 'typed' to provide information such as whether traffic signals or signs are positioned to control traffic flow. Intersections are tightly coupled to Public Works' Asset Management system also because Transportation Asset features track the IntersectionID if they are within a certain distance of intersections. This enables Public Works to account for assets by intersection.
