its_device – Type of signal

  • ADVANCED WARNING FLASHING BEACON– flashing device that notifies motorist of safety issues such as a curve, decrease in speed, intersection approaching, etc.

  • EMERGENCY SIGNAL/FIRE – signal used to alert motorist of emergency vehicles entering the roadway.

  • HAWK – High-Intensity Activated crosswalk is a traffic control device used to stop road traffic and allow pedestrians to cross safely

  • INTERSECTION FLASHING BEACON – device used to alert motorist of an approaching intersection

  • PEDX – CONVENTIONAL – Conventional signalized crosswalk to allow safe pedestrian crossing

  • PEDX WITH YELLOW FLASHING BEACON – Pedestrian crossing with a yellow flashing beacon to alert motorist of crosswalk

  • RECTANGULAR RAPID FLASHING BEACON (RRFB) - RRFBs are pedestrian-actuated conspicuity enhancements used in combination with a pedestrian, school, or trail crossing warning sign to improve safety at uncontrolled, marked crosswalks

  • SCHOOL FLASHER – flashing device used to inform motorist that they are entering a school zone
