Service Description: This polygon layer displays Potential Operational Delineations (PODs) ranked as first, second, or third priority. PODs were delineated by fire staff from relevant Ranger Districts with the USDA Forest Service and by regional fire staff with the Washington Department of Natural Resources. PODs were prioritized based on their scores in the landscape treatment priority layer which combines risk to forests, drought vulnerability, and forest structure types that are overabundant (departed) relative to desired reference conditions. Wildfire transmission to homes was also added to highlight areas where ignitions may result in fires that are likely to spread to areas with high home density.
