Service Description: Explore locations where Interstates and US Highways (Dual Carriageways) intersect the watershed boundaries for Non-Point Source Priority Watersheds in Arkansas. Priority Watersheds were identified through interagency collaboration and designated as areas where we could see the most environmental benefit from 319 Non-Point Source funding and efforts. This web map is meant to be a draft, initial tool for exploration of potential locations where signage could be installed to increase public awareness of these watersheds, similar to how other states (like Tennessee) have increased public perception of watershed issues Some preprocessing has been done to remove duplicate intersections and areas where a road passes back-and-forth between watersheds in relatively short distances.
