Description: This is a line data set that depicts the approximate location of the 2011 Mississippi River Trail (MRT) in Minnesota. The segments of the MRT that are on road were selected and copied from a roadway centerline shapefile obtained from MNDOT in May 2010. Minor revisions were made to this base info based on 2009 FSA aerial photos. The segments of MRT that are on existing trails were digitized by Bonestroo based on 2009 FSA aerial Photos.
