Description: ObjectiveThe objective of the Volleyball feature class is to document the location and characteristics of the sand volleyball court within Bozeman Pond Park. Mapping the volleyball court contributes to a comprehensive inventory of park amenities and helps guide future improvements.Equipment UsedData for this feature class was collected using an Emlid RS2 Multi‑GNSS receiver operating in autonomous mode (no base station and no differential correction).Mapping TechniquesThe volleyball court was mapped as a polygon by walking the perimeter and collecting averaged GNSS vertices at sand boundaries, corners, and transitions. Averaged positions were used to improve positional stability and reduce noise. The entire court boundary was accessible in the field, so no offsets or indirect mapping techniques were required.Base StationNo base station or differential correction was used. All positions were collected in autonomous GNSS mode, resulting in standard uncorrected accuracy.EditingMinor editing was performed to smooth polygon edges and remove small multipath spikes. Vertices were adjusted only when clearly misaligned with visible sand boundaries in aerial imagery.
