Description: ObjectiveThe objective of the Potential_Hazards feature class is to document the location and characteristics of hazards within Bozeman Pond Park that may pose safety risks to visitors or require maintenance attention. These hazards include exposed roots, uneven pavement, damaged infrastructure, standing water, erosion issues, or other conditions identified during field inspection. Mapping hazards supports maintenance prioritization, risk mitigation, and long‑term asset management.Equipment UsedData for this feature class was collected using an Emlid RS2 Multi‑GNSS receiver operating in autonomous mode (no base station and no differential correction).Mapping TechniquesPotential hazards were mapped as point features by occupying each hazard location directly with the GNSS receiver. Averaged GNSS positions were used to improve positional stability and reduce noise. All hazards were accessible in the field, so no offsets or indirect mapping techniques were required.Base StationNo base station or differential correction was used. All positions were collected in autonomous GNSS mode, resulting in standard uncorrected accuracy.EditingMinimal editing was required for this feature class. Points were visually inspected in ArcGIS Pro to confirm correct placement relative to aerial imagery and surrounding features. No vertices were moved, and no multipath spikes or anomalies were detected. No heads‑up digitizing or reconstruction was necessary.Estimated AccuracyBecause no differential correction was used, the Potential_Hazards feature class has an estimated horizontal accuracy of approximately 3–5 meters, consistent with typical autonomous GNSS performance under open‑sky conditions.Spatial ReferenceThe spatial reference for this feature class is: NAD 1983 2011 StatePlane Montana FIPS 2500 (Meters)Coordinate System: ProjectedDatum: NAD 1983 (2011)Projection: StatePlane Montana FIPS 2500Linear Unit: MetersFields (Domain and Entity Information)HAZARD_TYPEDescription: Type of hazard observed.Type: Text (coded)Domain: Snag, Crack, Fallen Tree, Hole, OtherSEVERITYDescription: Severity or potential risk level of the hazard.Type: Text (coded)Domain: High, Medium, LowMAINTENANCE_PRIORITYDescription: Urgency of maintenance or mitigation needs.Type: Text (coded)Domain: High, Medium, LowLAST_INSPECTIONDescription: Date the hazard was most recently inspected.Type: DateDomain: Valid calendar datesNOTESDescription: Optional comments or observations about the hazard.Type: TextDomain: Free text
