Description: Objective: Purpose of mapping was to show where fence for accessibility. Can hop fence if needed but can also go around.Equipment: Emlid RS2 Multi GNSS ReceiverBackcountry ski gearMapping Techniques: Offsets were used for mapping. Fence resided in mostly brush and was difficult to navigate with GPS and ski boots. Used phone compass to determine azimuth. Average points were also used to measure portion of fence in order to draw straight line, as opposed to streaming.Base Station: N/AEditing: Fence moved using offset measurements.
