Service Description: This dataset is part of a mapping project focused on documenting features contained within public track and field complexes across the Gallatin Valley. Information such as the number of track lanes, the surface type for tracks and runways, and the types of throwing rings is available. The data in this project was collected using high-accuracy GPS equipment; however, emphasis was placed on recording the presence of given track features and their characteristics rather than their exact positions. Data from this project may inform decisions on which complexes are best for club track meets or individual training, since track features and characteristics vary between facilities.
