Description: Objective: This layer displays mapped areas of impacted ground from foot traffic across the Montana State University campus. This is intended to be used for planning possible paved pathways on campus to reduce foot traffic on campus greenery and landscapes. Equipment: A GPS rover unit was used to manually map locations in this layer.Mapping Techniques: Features were mapped by walking the perimeter desired polygon and recording points.Editing: Snapping was used as a means of post processing editing.Estimated Accuracy: Accuracy of the mapped data is under one (1) meter.Spatial Reference Information: WGS 1984, D WGS 1984, Mercator Auxiliary SphereFields: Impact_Level: Subjectively describes the impact level of foot traffic on the mapped area; 1=Low impact, 2=Moderate Impact, 3=High Impact
