Name: GISADMIN.FullTrashCaptureDrainageArea

Display Field: FC_NAME

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon

Description: This datalayer gives locations of all full trash capture treatment areas for full trash capture compliant devices managed by or within a Permittees jurisdiction. This datalayer may not include full trash capture areas within a Permittees boundary that are not managed by the Permittee (i.e. private, county, state, and federal agencies). Types of full trash capture areas may include public and private connector pipe screens (CPS), basket type devices, hydrodynamic separators (HDS or CDS), Gross Solid Removal Devices (GSRD), and Netting devices. These areas should have corresponding treatment points in the full capture point GIS datalayer, although often areas are combined and include many devices. Additional information in this GIS datalayer may include partial capture treatment areas, areas that drain to sanitary sewer and areas that drain removed devices, planned devices, and non-functioning devices. Devices that are not actively full capture should be noted as such, and the DisplayMap attribute should not equal “yes” for the purposes of only mapping devices that are full capture. Full capture areas should not overlap, and polygons should be merged together to avoid any potential overlaps. Care should be taken to draw adjacent polygons with no gaps or sliver overlaps so that area and trash load calculations are more accurate. This information has been gathered by EOA for the purposes of mapping and cataloging these devices for the Long-Term Trash Reduction Plan. The methodology and the assumptions used to draw treatment areas vary widely depending on agency.
