Description: Authoritative King County Site/Structure Address Point and Road Centerline data supporting NG9-1-1 emergency call routing and location validation, maintained in conformance with the NENA GIS Data Model standard.
Site/Structure Address Points represent the location of a site, structure, or access point to a site or structure. This data can be used to locate sites that may not geocode correctly using road centerline data alone. Coverage of unit- and sub-address-level detail (e.g., apartment, suite, or building unit numbers) is dependent on data received from local addressing authorities and may not be complete for all locations.
Road Centerline represents the centerline of the roadway network, including standardized road name elements, address ranges, and directionality, used for address geocoding, call routing, and location validation.
This data is refreshed on a scheduled basis and is distributed for stakeholder viewing and download only. It is not the authoritative editing source — King County's internal GIS systems remain the system of record.
