Service Description: With the increased severity and frequency of wildfires in California, community wildfire planning is increasingly important to help prepare for and adapt to wildfire. Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) are a tool to help reduce the severity and impact of wildfires and increase community resilience. This plan is the first to cover the Plan Area, which include the Cities of Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel-by-the-Sea.
