Name: Unknown Age Class

Display Field: County

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPoint

Description: This map layer shows documented observations of northern pike during the spring migration in waterways on the west shore of Green Bay; northern pike spend most of their lifecycle in Green Bay and may visit additional waterways. It is unknown whether each observation represents an adult or young-of-the-year. A few northern pike may be able to cross partially passable barriers but many others may be left behind, so the observation of northern pike beyond a partial barrier should not be taken to mean that the barrier is not a serious problem. Occurrences may also occur beyond impassable barriers because this layer’s records date back many decades to include historic spawning habitat; it is crucial to click on each point to see when northern pike were last seen there.
