Description: This point feature class represents named places that are of interest to Chester County's Dept. of Emergency services (DES). (In a relatively small number of cases, these features are simply street addresses of interest, rather than actual named places.) These "Commonplaces" are specific locations in the County's CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) System that generally meet at least one of the following criteria: - A common reference point for 911 callers, such as convenience stores, bars banks, fast food locations, major/prominent structures and other local landmarks. - Responsible for a significant number of calls/responses - Requires a special/different response than the surrounding area
