The PARCEL_INACTIVE layer is the originating source of parcel geometry for the PARCELS layer. It is accessed for editing by County DCIS GIS staff. It is not directly accessed by all County GIS users. The parcel map base is vital in supporting property and land record operations of Chester County. The mapped land parcels layer does not represent property survey information and may not be used for such purposes.
