It should be noted that ZIP Codes, by definition, are generalizations, and as such, are inherently inaccurate and do not represent truly delineable areas. For true statistical purposes, U.S. Census ZCTA's (ZIP Code Tabulation Areas) are preferred (see zcta_2k.shp).
