The floodplain ovelay is a compilation of 1 in 100 return year flood extents from each of the Conservation Authorities and the provisions are being brought forward from the current Zoning By-law 2008-250. Properties subject to the flood plain overlay and area-specifc overlay provisions will not be upzones to allow increased density, to be consistent with the policies for flood plains found within the Official Plan.
