This file was created by NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), now NC Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), on 12/30/2022. The layer contains the reaches of riparian buffers, a field for the NC Administrative Code rule for each riparian buffer, and a link to a factsheet of the rules for each buffer. Planners will find this layer useful for analyzing whether their project is within a riparian buffer area and for finding which rules to follow.
