Description:

Southeast Texas Addressing and Referencing Map (STAR*Map) road coverage includes centerlines and their attributes for Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, Galveston, Chambers, Liberty, Montgomery, Waller, Austin, Colorado, Matagorda, Wharton and Walker County. It was created from 1990 TIGER centerlines and updated with H-GAC Orthophotos, 2 million parcel addresses from the utility company and counties. This road coverage is updated by members of the Geographic Data Workgroup. New roads are added, nonexistent roads deleted, street names and block ranges changed as a way to keep STAR*Map the most accurate map of the Houston area.
