Description: Curb ramps are most commonly found at intersections, but they may also be used at other locations such as on-street parking, loading zones, bus stops, and midblock crossings. The implementing regulations under Title II of the ADA specifically identify curb ramps as requirements for existing facilities, as well as all new construction. Curb ramps for existing facilities must be included in Transition Plans. According to the Title II implementing regulations, priorities for the installation of curb ramps in existing facilities should include access to government facilities, transportation, public accommodations, and for employees to their place of employment
